Journeying Through Judaism Artistically  "Israeli Art"  Part of what makes the art scene in Israel so unique is that the country blends so many varying influences from all over the Jewish world. by My Jewish Learning Staff "The Story of Hanukkah" by Ori Sherman  From: https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/israeli-art/ Is there a distinct definition of Judaic art, and if so what does this art entail? Defining a category of art in terms of Jewish culture, ethnicity, religion, and language, reflects an expression of merging cultural fusion within the Jewish community and the Diaspora (the movement and integration of Jewish people around the world).  What defines Israeli style? I found this statement on the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and I thought it was fascinating! If it is too long for you, then maybe just the conclusion will do... A Statement on Israel & the Palestinians by Christ Church Guest House http://www.cmj-israel.org/ Conclusion CMJ commits itself to move beyond the present debate amongst Christians, which is often characterized by sterile polarization and inflammatory words, to show understanding and tolerance and to focus on reconciliation, justice and peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. It appeals to mission agencies and the wider church to cooperate in this. CMJ recognizes the great complexity of the Israeli-Palestinian dispute but believes that the power of God is infinitely greater than this complexity and that we should pray for his sovereign purposes to prevail. Introduction CMJ was founded in 1809 by Evangelical Christians who believed that the Christian gospel, which came from a Jewish context, should be shared with Jewi
